San Benito of Palermo ,or the little black saint, has many different tales and celebrations,the town of Mucuch commemorates the intervention of the saint in a military victory of the yown, when its soldiers had lost heart after losing their standard-bearec in battle According to tradition the state of the saint appeared in the nearby balsa plain,and was brought back to the town church
